Fr. Raymond Mallett, OFM Conv.
Father Ray is the Rector/Pastor of the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and is the Guardian of the local Friary. The Shrine has always been a part of his life. It was at the Shrine that he professed Solemn Vows and was ordained a Deacon, 40 years ago. During his 40 years of ministry, he has been a Pastor, an Associate, high school teacher and administrator, missionary (Honduras and Scotland) and formation of young friars.
He feels privileged to have been asked to come to the Shrine – the very place that nurtured his vocation as a friar. God’s abundant grace is very evident here. It is a blessing for him to be a part of this wonderful ministry.
