Enclosed please find my monthly check, which I send for a candle to burn to honor Our Blessed Mother and Jesus.
I am always asking for blessings and thanking for favors received.
On September 7, 1984 my son had a very serious fall at work and broke his right leg. On the 8th of September I sent a check for a Mass and candle begging Our Blessed Mother to intercede to her son for a miracle.
The doctor examined my son in May 1985 after which he informed us that it might take a year or more before he could give a favorable answer. We then stormed heaven with prayers, because when a child, when Fr. Mizor was pastor of the Shrine I witnessed two miracles. My brother left his crutches and a Nun's voice returned when a hole in her chest filled up.
When my son returned to his doctor in June 1985 the latter took an x-ray and was surprised at the healing. He removed the brace and dismissed my son from any further treatments.
I'm looking over the Apostolate I found in the April 1982 issue the account that Bro. Jeffrey was asking for stories of cures to be put in book form and published in honor of Our Blessed Mother.
If this is being done please let me know, also state how many words should be in the note of thanks. If possible let me know real soon. I would like to make this, "Thank You" by Thanksgiving Day 1985, to our heavenly Father and Blessed Lady, for answering our prayers.
