The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation welcomes you. The Basilica is open for prayer at any time of day or night. Please note the schedule for Masses, Devotions, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the right hand column of this page. Come and experience the consolation of our Blessed Mother’s intercession.

Symbols - Anointing of the SicK

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated within Mass. Following Mass, all present may come forward to receive a blessing with the relic of the True Cross

Children's Choir

Childrens Choir

All children of our parish in grades 1-8 are invited to join the OLC Children's Choir! Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:00pm in the choir loft of the basilica.

 

OLC Pumpkin Walk

Mark your calendars for our parish fall party 10/21 starting at 5pm. Join us for kids games and activities, soup and chili cook off, trunk or treat, and the second annual lighted pumpkin walk.
We are in need of pumpkins to make this a successful event. Please sign up to carve a pumpkin. You can leave the pumpkin on the OLC School lawn on 10/20 and they will be placed all around the park to light our way. Please sign up on this link:

Light a Vigil Light

Here at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, vigil lights burn throughtout the upper and lower Basilica. Each burning flame represents the faith and prayers entrusted to Our Lady's loving intercession.

 

Please note: our weekday Masses and Adoration move to the Lower Basilica on November 3. If there is a large pilgrimage group or funeral, the Mass will be moved to the Upper Basilica.
